During the Obiektivi TV program “Ghamis Studia” (Night Studio) aired on March 4, 2021, Nino Ratishvili, the program host, and Nona Aghdgomelashvili, a doctor-therapist spoke about COVID-19 vaccines. The latter said that society serves as a lab rat in the process of COVID-19 vaccination because the vaccine has not passed the required stages for testing, including animal testing.

Aghdgomelashvili also speaks about the agreement between Pfizer and the Israeli government becoming public, where it’s noted that Israel is forbidden to disclose the information about the adverse effects of the vaccine for 15 years, the vaccine cannot be administered to people with hepatic, pulmonary and renal diseases, oncologic conditions, overweight individuals, smokers and so on. It’s also noted that sexual intercourse between men and women is forbidden for a month after the vaccination.

Aghdgomelashvili also questions global pandemic since, per her claims, the onset of a pandemic requires major reason – war, earthquake, amass of unburied corpses, etc. That’s why Nona Aghdgomelashvili says the following:

“I don’t acknowledge 2019 pandemic, it was more in 2020 and I don’t anticipate any waves in 2021”.

Opinions voiced during the program “Night Studio” is disinformation and contains conspiracy theories, due to the fact that the COVID-19 vaccine does have emergency use authorization, however, it has passed all the trial phases. The agreement between Pfizer and the Israeli government does not impose the 15-year ban on the disclosure of information about the adverse effects of the vaccine. Moreover, the agreement has no chapter determining who can and cannot receive the Pfizer vaccine. As for the global pandemic, global catastrophe is not the only cause of it.

  1. COVID-19 vaccine has emergency use authorization, however, it has passed all the trial phases

Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca vaccines passed all phases of the trial. Due to the urgent need for a vaccine in a surging pandemic, manufacturers were given approval to simultaneously test their vaccines on animals while they were conducting Phase 1 trials. Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were tested on mice and macaques, while AstraZeneca tested the vaccine on 6 monkeys in a minor preclinical trial.

;

According to the U.S Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the clinical trial of a vaccine is composed of several phases:

Phase I – small groups of people receive the trial vaccine;
Phase II – clinical study is expanded and the vaccine is given to people who have characteristics (such as age and physical health) similar to those for whom the new vaccine is intended;
Phase III – the vaccine is given to thousands of people and tested for efficacy and safety;
Phase IV – It’s noteworthy that some vaccines undergo Phase IV that consists of ongoing studies after the vaccine is approved and licensed.

The coronavirus vaccines have passed precisely the aforesaid required three-stage process. Vaccines were tested for safety, immune response, and final efficacy, with each new phase reaching a larger group of volunteers.

It should be noted that on December 11, 2020, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, which means that the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine meets the FDA requirements and provides scientific evidence of its efficacy against COVID-19 and that known and potential benefits outweigh the known and potential risks.

  1. The agreement between Pfizer and the Israeli government does not impose a 15-year ban on the disclosure of information about the adverse effects of the vaccine. Moreover, the agreement has no chapter determining who can and cannot receive the Pfizer vaccine

In January 2021, Israel indeed disclosed the primary part of the agreement with Pfizer, however, the agreement doesn’t impose a 15-year ban on the disclosure of information about the adverse effects of the vaccine

Point 5.5 of the agreement notes that “Ministry of Health will keep and safely maintain the Project Data for a period determined by Israeli applicable laws and regulations but no less than 15 years after the agreement termination”.

The agreement defines the “Project Data” as any de-identified data provided by the Ministry to PFIZER in the framework of the Project.

Therefore, the agreement does not state that the Israeli government is forbidden to disclose the information regarding adverse effects of the vaccine.

Moreover, there is no chapter in the agreement determining who can or cannot receive the Pfizer vaccine. The WHO webpage reads that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine is safe and effective. Nevertheless, there are specific populations for whom vaccination is not recommended, either due to contraindications, lack of supply, or limited data. This group includes people with a history of severe allergies, the majority of pregnant women, international travelers who are not part of a prioritized group, and children under 16.

The need to forbid sexual intercourse for a month after the vaccination is disinformation fact-checked by ibtimes that determined that such restrictions weren’t introduced by Pfizer.

  1. The onset of a global pandemic isn’t only caused by a global catastrophe

If we take a look at the history of the pandemic, we’ll see that global pandemic is frequently caused by local factors such as viral mutation and not global catastrophes. This is how the Spanish Flu, Ebola, and swine flu pandemic had begun.

Besides that, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, has written that despite major scientific and medical advances, today the potential for diseases to spread is increasing, and therefore so is the risk of it escalating into epidemics or pandemics. According to Gavi, the following 5 factors contribute to the above-mentioned process:

  1. Global Travel – Air travel enables people to travel halfway across the globe in less time than it takes for many diseases to incubate, making it extremely difficult to prevent their spread.
  2. Urbanization – Countries struggle to provide infrastructure, housing, sanitation, transport, and health care facilities for all in many cities with a growing population.
  3. Climate Change – Climate change affects every aspect of human existence, from access to water and food to severe changes in weather. It can also affect the spread of disease in a number of ways, such as by altering the natural range of disease-carrying insects (mosquitoes).
  4. Increased Human-Animal Contact – The latter increases the risk of zoonotic disease (originating from animals) outbreaks.
  5. Health Worker Shortages – The 2020 report by the WHO showed that the constant migration of nurses to high-income countries has caused the shortage of qualified medical personnel in numerous countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

In the program, Nino Ratishvili and Nona Aghdgomelashvili also note that vaccination is a part of the project to reduce the population. This is a 10-year plan for the so-called New World Order seen in the footage of the opening ceremony of the Olympics in the U.K, as well as the 2013 movie “Infected”. The aforesaid conspiracy theories have already been fact-checked by Myth Detector:
