On September 8, member of Alliance of Patriots Giorgi Lomia discussed the poisoning of Russian opposition-member Alexei Navalny on the program “For Everybody to Hear” of Night Studio, “Obiektivi” TV. According to him, it was confirmed that Alexei Navalny wasn’t poisoned by “Novichok”. On September 8, “Sakinformi” published the statement from one of the creators of Novichok, Leonid Rink. According to Rink, the fact that Navalny came out of the coma proves that he wasn’t poisoned by Novichok.

Giorgi Lomia, Alliance of Patriots: “It appears Navalny wasn’t poisoned by Novichok, now it has been confirmed…”

Leonid Rink: “I rule out his poisoning since he has no symptoms.  Even if a concentration of 400 times less than the lethal dose was used, he would come out of a coma, but he would still have miosis (narrowing of pupils). There are no similar symptoms here.”

Giorgi Lomia’s statement as if it appeared that Navalny wasn’t poisoned by Novichok is disinformation. According to the German government, the toxicology test showed that the Russian opposition leader was poisoned by the same nerve agent as Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Britain in 2018.

On Wednesday, September 2, The German chancellor, Angela Merkel officially confirmedthat Alexei Navalny was poisoned by the military-grade nerve agent Novichok that initially was developed by the Soviet Union, whereas later by Russia.

Navalny’s poisoning was followed by numerous disinformative messages from Kremlin-related politicians and media. EUvsDisino compared these messages to the ones disseminated after the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter in  Salisbury in 2018.
